Two day exhibition for the Irton Group Art Show in Holmrook
AN annual 'community art group' aimed at reducing isolation has returned with a new exhibition.
On October 22 and 23 between 11-4.30, The Irton Group Art Show will be returning to its usual site at Santon Bridge village hall, in Holmrook.
The group was formed in 2009 by artists around the area to act as a self-help and encouragement circle - a focus point for individual practitioners, who otherwise tend to exist in relative isolation within largely scattered communities.
"Members will be showing new artworks, which always reflect the diversity of approach within the group," one of the artists, Gareth Harrison, explained.
